It's normal to feel a little distance between you and your kids as they enter their tween and teen years. They may no longer see you as a superhero and will likely need different things from you. Thankfully, you can rebuild that connection when you join a local workshop for parents hosted by VigeoBX in Boise, ID.
Our two-hour workshop will give you the tools you need to identify your teen's new needs and support them as they get older. Reach out to us today to learn more about our local workshops for parents.
While we take pride in our parent workshops, we don't stop there. We also offer two-hour teacher workshops. We take a practical approach to:
- Help you feel more empowered
- Teach you classroom management techniques without gimmicks
- Show you how you can make a change, even if you feel like you can't
October 22nd, 9am-11am MST
When our young learners are not progressing in their learning of social, emotional, or academic skills - it can be a challenge for caregivers and educators to know what the next steps are.
This 2 hour workshop will help educators and caregivers of young children identify and choose appropriate modifications and techniques for children who are not responding effectively to the learning environment.
Beginning with an overview of developmental delay and how it might affect a learner's progress, we then explore the value of the techniques that are already being used, learning how and when to turn up the dial on those.
Additional teaching techniques for your toolbox are offered, and each participant will have the opportunity to develop a lesson plan with guidance from our trainer - including the decision making flow chart to support understanding which technique to use when.
